Assistant Relationship Manager
The position of Assistant Relationship Manager at Julius Baer in Geneva involves supporting relationship managers and communicating with private clients on trading and operational matters. The assistant helps to manage client relationships, process transactions, and comply with risk management guidelines.
Tasks
The Assistant supports the team and Relationship Managers (RMs) in handling all inquiries from private clients regarding trading and operational matters, with the aim of ensuring smooth operations and prompt, accurate, and comprehensive responses. The Assistant actively participates in ongoing communication with RMs and coordinates effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders in the context of client-related activities.Your challenge
- Customer administration and management: Supporting the RM and the team in all aspects of customer interaction
- Answering incoming calls and prompt implementation
- Maintaining and updating customer instructions, details, and preferences; generating system-based reports for RM
- Providing information and data to customers without offering advice or making value judgments
- Execution of orders, trading, transactions, payments (outside of e-channels), and processing of customer inquiries
- Support in promoting the use and deployment of our dedicated private banking e-channels
- Maintaining the due date list for deposits, loans, and trading; implementing instructions (from RM or customer) when necessary and required
management
- Organization and follow-up of customer meetings, including logistics and document preparation
- Supporting the RM in investigations and troubleshooting, maintaining close internal cooperation between teams/units
Risk management
- Full compliance with regulations, laws, internal rules, regulations, and guidelines
- Serves as the first line of defense against risks by reporting concerns, tracking issues, and escalating when necessary
Your profile
- Basic knowledge of financial markets: structure, function, and legal/regulatory environment, as well as industry knowledge
- Basic understanding of relevant products and services for private customers, as well as evaluation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, accurate work even under pressure
- Business proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) and other languages as required by the market
