Assistant Relationship Manager

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager and Group Head in daily operations, administration, customer service, and relationship management in the area of private banking. The role involves interacting with internal and external stakeholders, providing customer information, and assisting with the implementation of customized solutions.

The Assistant Relationship Manager position is an important part of the Private Banking team, supporting the Relationship Manager and Group Head in daily operations, administration, customer service, and relationship management.

Tasks

The tasks include:
  • Supporting relationship managers and group heads in customer interactions and all related tasks
  • Customization of customer inquiries (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
  • Managing the calendars of relationship managers and group heads, preparing client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, meetings, or trips
  • Preparation of presentations, support in the preparation of investment proposals and marketing activities
  • Ensuring coverage during absence

Business tasks

The business tasks include:
  • Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
  • Organizing one's own work in an efficient and compliant manner
  • Conducting reviews of plans and documentation of work
  • Supporting relationship managers and group heads in the implementation of projects and initiatives
  • Provision of professional suggestions for improvements
  • Administration of the expense reimbursement process for relationship managers and group heads
  • Provision of ongoing administrative support, including processing customer payment instructions, securities sales, funds, bonds, MM/FX transactions

Responsibilities and risk management

Responsibilities and risk management include:
  • Active support in risk management (first line of defense)
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and conformity with internal guidelines and standards
  • Ensuring the timely clarification of open issues and escalated defects
  • Ensuring the proper handling of other areas of responsibility
  • Ensuring accurate, meaningful, and understandable documentation of customer interactions/customer instructions
