Assistant Relationship Manager

Tasks

The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports one or more Relationship Manager(s) (RM) / Group Head(s) (GH) in their daily work, administration, and client management. The tasks include:

• Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
• Conducting reviews, planning, and documenting work
• Supporting the RM/GH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
• Preparation of suggestions for improvements based on experience and observations
• Administration of the expense accounting process for RMs/GH

Risk management and controls

The ARM actively assists with risk management (first line of defense), e.g., in client documentation, by raising concerns, tracking issues, and escalating uncertainties. Other tasks include:

• Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies and standards
• Ensuring the timely clarification of open issues and escalated defects
• Ensuring appropriate ethical and compliant behavior within one's own area of responsibility
• Ensuring accurate, thorough, and understandable documentation of client interactions/client orders in the appropriate tools

• Basic knowledge of global financial markets and current developments in the industry
• Solid affinity with the geographic market, i.e., familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment and cultural sensitivity
