Assistant Relationship Manager

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports Relationship Managers and Senior Relationship Managers in day-to-day operations, client servicing and relationship management in the Private Banking division. The ARM acts as an interface between internal and external stakeholders and provides clients with customized solutions and advice.

Job description: Assistant Relationship Manager

Tasks

  • Support Relationship Managers (RM) and Senior Relationship Managers (SRM) in daily operations, customer care and relationship management
  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, providing customized solutions and advice to clients

Client Administration & Management

  • Support with customer interactions and related tasks (systems, processes, files, documents, etc.) with high quality, precision and timely response
  • Individualization of customer inquiries (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
  • Management of the RM/GH calendar, preparation of client meetings, organization of business trips, follow-up of client meetings or business trips
  • Preparation of presentations, support in the drafting of agreements and marketing activities
  • Ensuring representation in the event of absence

Business Management

  • Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
  • Organizing your own work in an efficient and compliant manner
  • Carrying out reviews, planning and documenting your own work
  • Support in the implementation of projects and initiatives
  • Provision of professional contributions for improvements
  • Management of the expense reimbursement process for RM/GH
  • Continuous administrative support:
    • Processing of customer order transfers
    • Execution of securities, funds, bonds, money market / foreign exchange transactions
    • Handling customer inquiries and solving problems

Regulatory Responsibilities & Risk Management & Controls

  • Active support in risk management (first line of defense)
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal guidelines and standards
  • Ensuring the timely clarification of open points and assigned defects
  • Ensuring appropriate ethical and compliant behavior
  • Correct, meaningful and comprehensible documentation of customer interactions

Requirements

Personal and social

  • Customer-oriented and good communication skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers in the customer's native language
  • High level of self-motivation, positive attitude and proactive approach
  • Understanding of execution and back office processes as well as legal and compliance procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Team-oriented personality with attention to detail
  • Excellent adaptability to different situations

Professional

  • Familiarity with the geographic market
  • Good understanding of relevant products and services in private banking
  • Basic knowledge of global financial markets and current developments in the industry
  • Proven experience in supporting banking clients with complex needs
  • Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager in a private banking structure
  • Preferably with CMFAS module certification
  • Working knowledge of T24, Olympics and TEMOS
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
