Assistant Relationship Manager
Julius Baer is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager in Singapore to support Relationship Managers in client service, administration, and project implementation. The role requires in-depth knowledge of private banking, strong communication skills, and a proactive, client-focused approach.
Client Administration and Management
- Supports RMs/GR in client interactions and advertising-related tasks (systems, processes, files, documents, etc.) while maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring timely responses
- Customizes client requests (reports, statistics, meetings, etc.)
- Manages the RMs/GRs' calendars, prepares travel itineraries, organizes business trips, completes expense reports, and ensures efficient task management
- Prepares presentations and assists in drafting investment proposals and in marketing activities related to selected client meetings, roadshows, business trips, etc.
- Ensures coverage in the event of an absence
Business Management
- Regularly collects and shares relevant information necessary for the job
- Conducts reviews, runs tests, and ensures that documentation aligns with the views
- Supports RMs/GR in the implementation of projects and activities in close coordination with the Team Business Manager
- Prepares and attends annual meetings for key clients and attends relevant team meetings.
- Participating in processes such as those related to implementation based on experience, incident occurrence, or observation
- Monitors the external client forums for RMs/GR
Risk Management and Controls
- Assists RRs in managing client accounts (for a few teams):
- Ensures adherence to client regulations and compliance with internal policies and standards (e.g., anti-corruption, payment instructions, obtaining a group sign-off from the counterparty, as well as verification of timing and changes within the responsible relationship manager’s scope), and that formal backup procedures are followed
- Assumes responsibility for key clients to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards
- Exercises appropriate authority and handles complaints in accordance with our responsibilities
- Ensures that the product, activity, or order is documented correctly, meaningfully, and clearly in the corresponding task (CRM (DMS))

Education
- Postgraduate-level or postgraduate-certified work experience and/or postgraduate studies.
