Assistant Relationship Manager
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports Relationship Managers and Senior Relationship Managers in day-to-day operations, client service and relationship management. The focus is on providing customized solutions and advice to clients and identifying business opportunities.
Job description: Assistant Relationship Manager
Tasks
- Support Relationship Managers (RM) and Senior Relationship Managers (SRM) in daily operations, customer care and relationship management
- Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, providing customized solutions and advice to clients
- Proactively identify business opportunities to meet and exceed customer requirements
Client Administration & Management
- Support customer interactions and related tasks (systems, processes, files, documents, etc.) with high quality, accuracy and timely responses
- Customization of customer inquiries (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
- Management of RM/GH's calendar, preparation of client meetings, organization of business trips, follow-up of client meetings or business trips for RM/GH
- Preparation of presentations, support in the preparation of agreements and marketing activities (customer reception, meetings, business trips, events, etc.)
- Ensuring representation in the event of absence
Business Management
- Regular collection and exchange of relevant information required for the work
- Organizing one's own work in an efficient and compliant manner, ensuring that superiors are informed in a timely and appropriate manner
- Carrying out reviews, planning and documenting your own work
- Supporting RM/GH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
- Drawing up proposals for improvements based on experience, incidents or observations
- Management of the expense reimbursement process for RM/GH
- Continuous administrative support:
- Processing of customer order transfers, execution of securities, funds, bonds, MM/FX transactions
- Processing customer inquiries and solving problems as far as possible
Support in achieving goals
- Support RM in achieving goals:
- Identification of opportunities to increase customer share / cross-sales
- Contact with customers to check satisfaction with service levels and ask about additional needs
- Carrying out research assignments as required
Regulatory Responsibilities & Risk Management & Controls
- Actively support risk management (first line of defense support), e.g. in customer support, by raising concerns, tracking issues and escalating when in doubt
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and compliance with internal policies and standards (e.g. opening of new accounts, payment instructions, review of client meetings or approval at own competence level, etc.) in cooperation with the respective RM and GH
- Ensuring the timely clarification of pending issues and assigned defects
- Ensuring appropriate ethical and compliant behavior in his area of responsibility
- Ensuring correct, meaningful and comprehensible documentation of customer interactions/customer orders in the relevant tools (e.g. CRM, DAS)
- Demonstrate appropriate values and behaviors, including but not limited to standards of honesty and integrity, care and diligence, fair treatment (fair treatment of clients), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, appropriate risk management and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
