Assistant Relationship Manager

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager and the Group Head in day-to-day operations, administration and organization in the Private Banking division. He acts as an interface between internal and external stakeholders and helps to implement customized solutions for clients.

Job description: Assistant Relationship Manager

Tasks

  • Supports the Relationship Manager (RM) and Group Head (GH) in daily operations, administration and organization
  • Interacts with internal and external stakeholders and provides relevant information
  • Supports the RM in the implementation of customized solutions in all tasks related to relationship management
  • Acts as a role model in the provision of first-class service quality
  • Helps to manage and expand the current customer base
  • Monitors customer feedback and forwards it to the appropriate people/departments within the bank

Your challenge

Client Administration & Management

  • Supports RM/GH in customer interaction and all related tasks
  • Customizes customer requests (reporting, statistics, mailing, etc.)
  • Manages RM/GH's calendar, prepares client meetings, organizes business trips
  • Prepares presentations, assists in the preparation of investment proposals and marketing activities
  • Ensures representation in your own absence

Business Management

  • Collects and exchanges relevant information on a regular basis
  • Organizes itself to be efficient and competent
  • Carries out checks, plans ahead and documents his/her work
  • Supports RM/GH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
  • Provides professional suggestions for improvements
  • Manages the expense report process for RM/GH
  • Provides ongoing administrative support

Regulatory Responsibilities & Risk Management Controls

  • Actively contributes to risk management
  • Ensures compliance with local regulations and internal guidelines and standards
  • Ensures the timely clarification of open points and escalated defects
  • Ensures appropriate escalation and follow-up in these areas of responsibility
  • Ensures the correct, meaningful and comprehensible documentation of customer interactions/customer orders

Requirements

Personal and social

  • Customer-oriented and good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers in the customer's native language
  • High level of self-motivation, positive and proactive
  • Understands execution and back office processes as well as legal and compliance procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Team-oriented, especially (team player) with attention to detail
  • Good and fast learning ability
  • Excellent adaptability to situations
  • Friendly, trustworthy and discreet with a high level of risk awareness
  • Highly service-oriented and passionate about customer care

Further requirements

  • Solid affinity with the geographic market(s), i.e. familiar with the legal and regulatory environment and cultural awareness
  • Good understanding of relevant products and services in private banking
  • Basic knowledge of the global financial markets and current developments in the industry
  • Successful experience in supporting banking clients with complex needs
  • A good university degree, preferably in economics or a related subject
