Assistant Relationship Manager
Julius Baer is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager in Singapore to support Relationship Managers in client management, cross-selling, and compliance. The position requires a basic understanding of financial products, private banking, and global markets, as well as a team-oriented approach to work.
Tasks
- Supporting the RM/CSU in issuing work orders and completing related tasks (systems, documents, processes, files)
- Assistance with high-quality, timely processing and oversight (reporting, monitoring, etc.)
- Familiarize customers with banking operations (banking, investments, credit, wealth management, and tax matters)
- Support the RM in cross-selling and fostering existing relationships with other units (e.g., Private Banking and transaction units), as well as in cross-selling Julius Baer products
- Role in monitoring documentation, order records, and the maintenance and development of knowledge about clients (preferably in banking, reporting, and taxation)
- Ensuring Data Compliance and AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
- Reporting on customer-, product-, and maintenance-related information required for risk management
- Confirmation Regarding Risks, Markets, and Relevant Market Information (e.g., interest rates, exchange rates, yields)
- Ensure product presentation by the RM/CSU to meet customer needs in line with team strategies and customer requirements
- Providing professional initial recommendations for improvements based on management, business, or effectiveness
- Ensuring that mandatory compliance training is conducted on MACRO
- Active support in monitoring (upon request) and implementing effective measures, e.g., regarding customers, documents, and procedures
- Ability to build an engaged team dedicated to achieving shared customer success
- Experience serving as an intermediary and maintaining relationships with corporate clients and other relationship managers by providing them with up-to-date information in accordance with the client's instructions
- Collaborate with private clients and the client, ensuring regular updates on corporate communications
- Assisting clients and end customers with the purchase of Julius Baer products
- Ensuring cross-selling initiatives and timely communication with the relevant authorities
- Ensuring a continuous understanding of jurisdictional and tax law
- Ensuring AML monitoring and planning all documentation related to client mandates and client orders in the appropriate tool (e.g., DNA, CRM)
