Assistant Relationship Manager
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager and Group Head in day-to-day operations, administration, customer service, and relationship management in the private banking department. The position requires a customer-focused personality with good communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work under pressure.
Tasks
The duties of the Assistant Relationship Manager include:- Supporting the Relationship Manager and Group Head in daily operations, administration, client care, and relationship management
- Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, providing information to customers, and supporting the relationship manager in implementing customized solutions
Client Administration & Management
The tasks in this area include:- Supporting relationship managers and group heads in client interactions and all related tasks
- Customization of client requests (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
- Managing the calendar of the Relationship Manager/Group Head, preparing client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, meetings, or business trips
- Preparation of presentations, support in the preparation of investment proposals and marketing activities
- Ensuring coverage during absence
Business Management
The tasks in this area include:- Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
- Organizing your own work in an efficient and compliant manner and ensuring that your supervisor is provided with timely and appropriate information
- Conducting plan reviews and documenting the work
- Supporting the Relationship Manager/Group Head in the implementation of projects and initiatives
- Provision of professional suggestions for improvements
- Administration of the expense accounting process for relationship managers/group heads
- Provision of ongoing administrative support
Regulatory Responsibilities / Risk Management & Controls
The tasks in this area include:- Active support in risk management (first line of defense)
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies and standards
- Ensuring the timely clarification of open issues and escalated defects
- Ensuring adequate and effective controls in other areas of responsibility
- Ensuring accurate, meaningful, and understandable documentation of client interactions/client orders
Requirements
The requirements for the Assistant Relationship Manager include:- Customer focus and good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers in the customer's native language
