Assistant Relationship Manager
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager and Group Head in daily operations, administrative tasks and analysis in the Private Banking division. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills as well as banking experience.

Tasks
- Supports Relationship Manager(s) (RM(s)) and Group Head (GH) in daily operations, administrative tasks such as preparation of presentations, organization of meetings, events and business trips as well as ad hoc analysis and research
- Client Administration & Management:
- Supports RM(s)/GH in customer interaction and all related tasks (systems, processes, files, documents, etc.) with high quality, accuracy and timely responsiveness
- Adapts customer inquiries (reporting, mailings, etc.)
- Manages RM(s)/GH calendars, prepares client meetings, organizes business trips for RM(s)/GH
- Follow-up of client meetings, client meetings or business trips for RM(s)/GH
- Prepares presentations, assists in the preparation of investment proposals and marketing activities when required (client notification, investment trips, events etc.)
- Ensures representation in your own absence
- Business Management:
- Collects and regularly exchanges relevant information required for the position
- Organizes self in an efficient and compliant manner and ensures timely and appropriate responsiveness
- Carries out checks, plans in advance and documents his work at all times
- Supports RM(s)/GH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
- Provides professional input/suggestions for improvement based on experience, incidents or observations
- Regulatory Responsibilities & Risk Management & Control:
- Supports the RM in achieving targets:
- Identifies opportunities to increase share of wallet / cross-sales
- Contacts customers to check satisfaction with service levels and ask about additional needs

Requirements
- Personal and social:
- Customer-oriented and good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with clients in the client's native language when required
- High level of self-motivation, positive and proactive
- Understands execution and back office processes as well as legal and compliance procedures
- Ability to work proactively and work under pressure
- Good and fast learning ability
- Team-oriented personality (team player) with attention to detail
- Excellent educational background, preferably with an MBA and clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong IT literacy and comfort with high risk awareness
- Professional and technical:
- Solid affinity with the geographical markets covered, i.e. familiar with the legal and regulatory environment and customs
- Good understanding of relevant products and services in private banking
- Basic knowledge of the global financial markets and current developments in the industry
- Proven track record in serving banking clients with complex needs (portfolio management of assets, maintaining and expanding existing relationships)
- A good academic degree in finance, economics or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager in a private bank or similar environment
- CAGS Papers 1 and 2
- Preferably with CFA/MPAS level
