Assistant Relationship Manager
Julius Baer is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager in Singapore to support Relationship Managers in client acquisition, client service, and risk management. This full-time position requires in-depth knowledge of financial products and private banking, as well as a proactive, service-oriented approach to work.
Tasks
- Assist the Relationship Manager (RM) / Deputy Group Manager (DGM) with client acquisition and relationship management (contracts, proposals, documents, etc.) as well as with the high-quality, personalized management of client proposals.
- Participation in meetings to enhance the approach and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Customer networking (meetings, events, marketing, etc.).
- Development of the RM/DGM database containing key local contacts and networks.
- Maintenance and processing of customer data; preparation of customer documents for meetings by the RM/DGM.
- Support the RM/DGM in preparing and distributing proposals, as well as in implementing activities (data collection, counseling, follow-up calls, events, etc.).
- Ensuring that delegated tasks are covered.
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing information relevant to the work.
- Collaboration with RM/DGM on future investment ideas and opportunities.
- Support the RM/DGM in managing projects and clients in close coordination with team and platform management.
- Provision of professional closure reports for implemented measures in accordance with incident management or outage procedures.
- Assessment of the contribution to total income compared to a benchmark.
- High-quality monitoring (depending on the budget), e.g., in customer management and billing, through the use of screens, tracking data entry errors, or having the customer correct them.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations, particularly internal policies and procedures.
- Support the RMs/DGMs in organizing wealth management plans and financial planning by updating information on private equity, payment instructions, investment client services, etc., in collaboration with the Operations RM and as the first level of back-office management.
- Ensuring that customer service needs are accurately identified.
- Ensuring that outstanding items are delivered on time in accordance with established deadlines.
- Ensuring approval and providing an organized reference for each area of responsibility.
- Ensure that internal contractual documentation of customer requirements and customer orders is maintained in the appropriate tool (e.g., OMS).
