Assistant Relationship Manager, Private Banking - Germany & Austria
The Assistant Relationship Manager for Private Banking supports one or more Relationship Managers in their day-to-day work, client service, and the management of client relationships in Germany and Austria. The position requires a service-oriented, results-driven, and risk-aware individual with experience in the financial sector and a solid understanding of private banking products and services.
Tasks
The responsibilities of the Assistant Relationship Manager, Private Banking, include:- Supporting the Relationship Manager (RM)/Team Head (TH) in day-to-day operations, administration, client care, and relationship management
- Support in implementing customized solutions for customers
- Support in communicating with external stakeholders
- Providing relevant information to customers
Client Administration & Management
The tasks in this area include:- Supporting the RM/TH in customer interactions and all related tasks
- Customization of customer inquiries (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
- Managing the RM/TH's calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, meetings, or trips
- Preparation of presentations, assistance with the development of investment proposals, and marketing activities
- Ensuring coverage during your own absences
Business Management
The tasks in this area include:- Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
- Organization in an efficient and compliant manner
- Conducting reviews, planning, and documenting the work
- Supporting the RM/TH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
- Provision of professional suggestions for improvements
- Management of the expense reporting process for RM/TH
Risk Management & Controls
The tasks in this area include:- Active support in risk management (first line of defense)
- Ensuring adherence to local regulations and compliance with internal policies and standards
- Monitoring of open issues and escalation if necessary
- Ensuring appropriate ethical and compliant behavior
- Ensuring accurate and understandable documentation of customer interactions
