Assistant Relationship Manager
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager with administrative tasks, such as processing customer inquiries and preparing presentations, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The focus is on managing client relationships and ensuring a high quality of service.
Job description
Tasks
- Supporting the relationship managers in processing customer inquiries and concerns
- Coordination of customer inquiries (reporting, statistics, meetings, etc.)
- Management of the Relationship Manager's calendar, preparation of client meetings, organization of business trips
- Preparation of presentations, reports on customer investment proposals and marketing activities
- Ensuring coverage in your own absence
Business Management
- Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
- Organizing/coordinating upcoming appointments and ensuring that superiors are informed in a timely and appropriate manner
- Carrying out checks, filing and storing documents
- Supporting senior management in the preparation and filing of projects and relationships
- Drawing up proposals for improvements based on experience, incidents or observations
Regulatory Responsibilities/ AML & Compliance & Controls
- Active support in risk management (first line of defense)
- Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
- Timely escalation of potential AML and suspicious incidents
- Ensuring appropriate ethical and compliant behavior
- Correct, meaningful and comprehensible documentation of customer interactions/customer orders
Requirements

- Customer-oriented and good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers in the customer's native language
- High level of self-motivation, positive and proactive attitude
- Understanding of execution and back office processes as well as legal and compliance procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and stress

- Systematic, precise and careful way of working
Professional and technical
- Sound knowledge of the geographical context (markets)
- Good understanding of relevant products and services in private banking
- Basic knowledge of global financial markets and current developments in the industry
- Proven experience in supporting banking clients with complex needs
- Degree in business administration, economics or a related subject
- At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager in a private banking structure
- CACS2, Pages 1 and 2
- Familiarity with DAIMA modules 1B, 5A, 6A
