Assistant / Assistant Cash Staff

The Swiss National Bank is looking for an assistant for its Cash Department (80-100%) to take on administrative and organizational tasks and support the team in various areas. The position offers a responsible and challenging role in a collegial environment with modern working conditions and flexible working options.

Your contribution

The Cash Division is responsible for ensuring the supply of cash. The division is part of Department II and is located in a prime location in Bern. Your tasks will include:
  • Administrative and organizational activities in the cash division, including correspondence and travel arrangements;
  • Support in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, the budget and procurement process, and operational planning;
  • Assistance with general administrative tasks and performance of operational tasks;
  • Supporting project management in various tasks related to large-scale projects;
  • Coordination, training, and integration of trainees into the team;
  • Planning, conducting, and recording meetings and events.

Your knowledge and experience

For this position, you will need:
  • Completed commercial training or comparable qualification;
  • Further training in business administration topics, ideally with a focus on finance or project management;
  • Initial professional experience in an assistant role and interest in taking on PMO responsibilities in projects and/or controlling tasks;
  • Strong affinity for commercial, agile working methods and interdisciplinary teams;
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit, coupled with a high level of service orientation;
  • Very good knowledge of German, French, and business fluent English, both spoken and written.
