Associate

Job Description

The duties of an associate include:

• Participation as an important team member
• Support for Relationship Managers
• Project work in the areas of investment management and trading events
• Proactive development of brochures to generate new leads
• Developing expertise across various asset classes, including fixed income, equities, hedge funds, real assets, and private equity
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and become a key point of contact for customer-related information
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, investment product specialists, compliance officers, advisors, and other professionals to organize client meetings and develop investment ideas
• Use of BlackRock’s proprietary systems to collect security, capital market, and economic data and to create presentation materials for client meetings and marketing materials
• Collecting critical data to quantify investment performance and customer inquiries
• Creation and publication of client materials regarding BlackRock’s products and strategies
• Support for the new customer onboarding process

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree and a strong track record in investment management and financial investments
• In-depth knowledge of investments and investment products, including various asset classes, sectors, and investment products
• An established network of industry contacts and decision-makers
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (business, finance, or accounting)
• SIE, Series 7, 63, and 3 licenses, or a willingness to obtain them
