Associate Cross-Asset Trader

The Associate Cross-Asset Trader is responsible for executing trades and placing orders in support of Man Group’s investment strategies. The role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, technical skills, and analytical abilities to ensure the best possible execution for Man Group’s clients.

Tasks

  • Execution and Placement of Orders for Man's Investment Engines
  • Compliance with the regulatory and legal framework governing trading activities
  • Monitoring and compliance with market risk limits and thresholds
  • Best Execution: Continuous improvement of processes to meet best execution obligations for Man's clients
  • Monitoring and analysis of execution quality using MiFIR RTS 27 reports and qualitative metrics
  • Development and improvement of implementation tools and technologies
  • Integration of Artificial Intelligence into Trading Processes

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the financial industry, ideally in a leadership role
  • Programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages
  • A solid understanding of financial markets and a genuine interest in learning more
  • A strong academic background and a degree from a prestigious university
  • Ability to work under stress and pressure and think on one's feet
  • Intellectually strong, with a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Organized, forward-thinking, and capable of handling multiple products and projects at the same time
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with investment management teams and regional offices
