Associate Cross-Asset Trader
The Associate Cross-Asset Trader is responsible for executing trades and placing orders for Man Group’s investment engines. The position requires at least two years of experience at a financial institution and involves tasks such as best execution, broker evaluation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Tasks
The tasks include:- Execution and Placement of Orders for Man's Investment Engines
- Compliance with the regulatory and legal framework
- Monitoring of market risks and thresholds
- Executing trades and reporting to the post-trade risk management function
- Improving execution processes to meet best execution obligations for clients
- Monitoring Broker Performance and Order Routing
- Supporting the operations teams to prevent disruptions or delays in pending trades
Requirements
The requirements include:- 2+ years of experience at a financial institution or relevant technical experience
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL
- A basic understanding of financial markets and a passion for derivatives, technology, and analytics
- Strong academic background and a degree from a leading university
- Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
