Associate, Discretionary Investment Specialists
The Associate, Discretionary Investment Specialists, is responsible for creating investment content and developing a significant investment strategy for liquid assets. The role involves creating investment documentation, designing product messaging, and collaborating with the portfolio management team to produce content of the highest quality.
Purpose of the role
The Discretionary Investment Specialist Associate will have overall responsibility for creating investment content across various channels, including Discretionary Investment Solutions, with a focus on liquid assets. This role is critical to developing a meaningful investment approach focused on key investment funds within Man's Discretionary business line to generate returns and present investment content in a compelling and effective manner.Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a wide range of investment materials, including fund marketing, new product launch materials, thought leadership content, and sales materials to position strategies competitively * Brainstorm and conceptualize product messaging to position strategies competitively * Provide ongoing technical expertise as a subject matter expert on various products to internal and external stakeholders * Partner with the portfolio management team, CIOs, and other key stakeholders across the firm to ensure content is insightful, effective, and of the highest quality * Creating web content and performance data/educational videos to promote fund capabilities and offerings and ensure content aligns with client objectives * Ensuring the latest fund research, analysis, and messaging are incorporated into all materialsTechnical skills
* University degree in a relevant field required, CFA, CAA, or IMC qualification preferred * 0-3 years of experience in client service or content creation within the industry and a solid understanding of the financial sector * Ability to work with senior members of the investment team and investment management to support sales priorities * Familiarity with buy-side and sell-side environments * Knowledge of institutional and private client requirements; good organizational and time management skills * Ability to prioritize work effectively * Ability to work independently within a team to meet demanding deadlines * Ability to proactively create a communicative environment; confidential handling of sensitive information * Good writing, PowerPoint, and Excel skills; strong analytical skills with good attention to detail/accuracyWe offer
