Associate Engineer - Finance & People Technology

Tasks

As an Associate Engineer on the Finance & People Technology team, you will support the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of the SaaS infrastructure that supports the finance and human resources departments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of financial and human resources platforms, including Workday, Greenhouse, Cultureshift, Kyros, and Figlo
• Implementation of the BAU improvement workflow in the tech department, including bug fixes, user requests, and minor improvements
• Taking over several BAU integration platforms, including ensuring data integrity and initializing data files
• Resolving integration errors and implementing robust root-cause fixes
• Collaborating with business and technical teams to automate processes, create prototypes, and troubleshoot issues
• Implementation of best practices for scalability, maintainability, and performance

Requirements

For this position, we require:

• Some professional experience in technology, ideally 1–2 years in a tech, engineering, data, or finance-related field
• Access to internal documentation and technical platforms; experience with Workday, Greenhouse, Kyros, Cultureshift, or Figlo is a plus but not required
• Work comfortably with multiple SaaS platforms at the same time and quickly learn new systems
• Ability to perform hands-on system configuration and maintenance
• Basic understanding of integrations (APIs, file-based interfaces, middleware/ETL/Kafka-like solutions) and data flow between systems
• Experience building simple but valuable automations/apps and a solid understanding of Python and cloud code
