About the program
Our Technology Foundation Program offers a two-year rotation across three teams where you will work with C#/ .Net. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop new functionality and improve the scalability of the technology platform that powers Man Group.
Your tasks could include the following:
- Draft technical roadmaps
- Mentoring by high-ranking managers
- Developing a deep understanding of our business
Tasks
As an Associate Engineer, you will be part of a team that develops and operates the platform for Man's hedge funds.
Your tasks could include the following:
- Work on solutions in areas such as enterprise architecture, trade ingestion, data engineering, risk management, financial modeling, data quality assurance
Requirements
We are looking for:
- Good knowledge of C# or other .NET languages
- Technical experience may have been gained through a recent degree or program in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics or a related field, working on open source projects, or 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
- Understanding of how source control and continuous deployment workflows work with tools like Git
- Self-organizing with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively across multiple projects
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Self-starters with a desire to learn and understand more about the business environment in which you work
