Associate, ETF Primary Markets Location: San Francisco, California

Your role

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day trading and liquidity across ETFs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable analyzing and understanding the nuances of ETF trading that spans across the Americas, Latin America and Canada markets. This person will operate with a strong understanding of the markets across the firm to effectively drive solutions.

Your tasks

• Be a risk manager who protects our ETFs and their shareholders
• Collaborate with internal and external teams and portfolio teams worldwide
• Work with technology and data teams to create internal tools
• Lead the team in responding to market events under pressure and uncertainty
• Collaborate with teams to analyze ETF trading data and create relevant market intelligence

Your requirements

• 3-5 years of industry experience with an understanding of retail and market infrastructure
• CFA charter (or shortly before receipt)
• Strong risk management mentality; able to identify downstream impacts
• Customer focus; high level of motivation, comfort with ambiguity and ability to perform under pressure
• High integrity; strong sense of responsibility and judgment
• Critical thinker; individual who is adaptable, flexible and thrives in a team environment
• Strong relationship building skills, especially influencing and listening to people across different functions and hierarchy levels
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to be clear and concise
