• Job title: Country Coverage Iberia Investment Banking

Tasks:

• Typical work involves a mix of execution and client service, including: valuation, financial analysis, strategic analysis, due diligence, deal finance and litigation management
• Requires coordination and collaboration with all other product, geo and industry specialists, including: M&A, Leverage Finance, Debt Capital Markets and Equity Advisory
• Opportunity to work on a variety of transactions including: sell-side M&A, buy-side M&A and leveraged buyouts
• Broad involvement in teams/groups, for example: M&A, Leverage Finance, Financial Sponsors, DCM, Equity Advisory, Structured and Risk Solutions (e.g. IR or FX derivatives)

Requirements:

• A proven background in M&A / Corporate Finance within the investment banking, accounting, corporate or boutique environment
• Experience in buy-side and sell-side M&A
• Project management: ability to lead teams to meet customer requirements
• Strong communication skills: Ability to interact confidently with banking professionals and clients
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to perform data analysis
• Excellent experience in financial modeling (operating models, merger models, LBO, etc.)
• Teamwork: Experience in a project-based environment with tight deadlines
• Distinctive academic performance: consistently in the top 10% of the peer group
• Fluent in Spanish and English
