Associate, Info N & T Admin - Business Analyst

Northern Trust is seeking a Business Analyst with 10–20 years of experience for a hybrid role at its London office, focusing on supporting the contact center and IT administration. The ideal candidate holds a college degree in computer science or business and has in-depth knowledge of agile methodologies, data analysis, and project management.

Tasks

  • Business management supported by the Northern Trust Contact Center and other technologies
  • Support and collaboration in a fast-paced environment while ensuring security, availability, and technical safety
  • Delivering Value to Customers
  • Understanding of complex problems at a level appropriate to the scope and needs of team projects
  • Designing process and system requirements for the delivery of new services
  • Contributions to project documents, kick-off meetings, process breakdowns, and related business areas to achieve tangible results, status updates, use cases, and customer support
  • Establishing cross-functional teams to support project efforts related to requirements and implementation roadmaps
  • Establishment of KPIs and functional support schedules
  • Management of tasks, including both weekly activities and accumulated assignments
  • Maintaining open-source releases to promote agility in weekly sprints
  • Keep stakeholders informed regarding business functions, value creation, and value delivery for the department
  • Support for incident management, change management, and the initial operational processes and procedures, as well as monitoring of service interruptions until the IT systems are fully implemented
  • Tracking and managing incident/problem logs (Agile/SR) and reporting on security performance based on defined KPIs
  • Collaborating with the teams to fix bugs and implement related requirements
  • Reporting on efforts related to internal departmental process control issues and tracking progress
  • Identify teams and SharePoint sites that exist in the current cloud environment, enhance security levels, and create and define modifications
  • Support for the contact center, including historical reporting and metrics, code reporting procedures, and data
  • Support, Monitoring, and Risk Impact
  • Maintaining Inventory Reports on Services
  • Support for internal departmental audits

Requirements

  • 10–20 years of professional experience
  • A bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in computer science or business administration, or equivalent professional experience in research
  • Extensive experience in commercial support
  • 7–10 years of experience in operational administration and support
  • 3 years of professional experience as a business analyst with strong relationship management and support skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams, One, and SharePoint
  • Practical experience with data and data analysis
  • Confluence UI and Site Creation
  • Knowledge of Agile and other methodologies and techniques that can be used for problem-solving and requirements gathering
  • Familiarity with various methodologies across different frameworks (e.g., Agile/CI, 4PM 3002.2, KPMG, Six Sigma, Test-Driven Development)
  • Ability to drive internal and external projects in line with business requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to think critically, prioritize, and innovate to maximize results
  • A proven track record, agility, and a focus on results for simple and concise delivery
  • Ability to Travel for Assignments
