Associate - Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking

About the job

This position offers the opportunity to be part of a growing team at the forefront of cross-border maritime investment banking. The successful candidate will support the origination and execution of transactions involving debt, equity, and hybrid instruments, and will work closely with senior bankers to handle high-profile international deals in the shipping and offshore sectors.

Tasks

- Assisting with capital raising and advisory engagements in the maritime and offshore industries. - Developing, maintaining, and refining financial models to support valuation, structuring, and transaction analysis. - Preparation of pitch books, presentations, investment memoranda, and other transaction materials. - Conducting industry, company, and transaction research in the shipping, oil & gas, transportation, and related sectors. - Active participation in business development and deal origination activities.

Requirements

- Solid background in investment banking, shipping finance, or investment management with a focus on maritime/offshore, oil & gas, or transportation. - Proven track record in executing financing or M&A transactions. - Advanced skills in modeling, structuring, and valuation. - Strong client-focused skills, with the ability to manage investor and client interactions. - Experience mentoring junior team members. - Excellent communication skills in English and Greek (native speaker).
