Associate – Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking in Athens, Greece.

Tasks

Successful candidates will support the origination and execution of transactions involving debt, equity, and hybrid instruments, and will work closely with senior bankers to handle high-profile international deals in the shipping and offshore sectors. Key responsibilities include:

• Contribution to the execution of capital raising and consulting engagements in the shipping and offshore industries.
• Development, maintenance, and refinement of financial models to support valuation, structuring, and transaction analysis.
• Preparation of pitch books, presentations, investment memoranda, and other transaction materials.
• Conducting industry, company, and transaction research in the shipping, oil and gas, transportation, and related sectors.
• Active participation in business development and deal origination activities.

Requirements

Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Solid experience (3–5+ years) in investment banking, shipping finance, or investment management with a focus on maritime/offshore, oil and gas, or transportation.
• A proven track record in executing financing or M&A transactions.
• Advanced skills in modeling, structuring, and evaluation.
• Strong client-focused skills with the ability to manage interactions with investors and clients.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Greek (native speaker).
