Associate People Partner

As an Associate People Partner, you will support line managers and work on the implementation of people strategies and initiatives to drive employee engagement, retention and business results. You will advise and support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from performance management to employee relations and organizational change.

Tasks

  • As an Associate People Partner, you will work with a Lead People Partner to act as an advisor and service provider for people-related matters within an assigned client group.
  • You will advise and support people strategy initiatives across multiple client groups, providing expert advice.
  • You will handle the full employee lifecycle*, from performance management and talent development to employee relations and organizational change - working with specialists to ensure effective people practices that drive employee engagement, retention and business results.

Responsibilities

  • Support line managers and equip them with the tools to manage their teams effectively.
  • Coordinate and execute talent and performance solutions, e.g:
    • Effectiveness of management teams
    • Workshops/Seminars
    • Organizational design
    • Employee relations
    • Career skills development
    • Executive assessments and feedback processes
    • Career management
  • Support change activities by coordinating with line managers to execute change proposals and associated projects and share best practice.
  • Manage people risks proactively with fairness, transparency, consistency and effective feedback loops to reduce reputational risk.
  • Provide innovative solutions and practical advice on HR policies, standards and guidelines and support their implementation.
  • Provide expert support for people influencers and projects.
  • Promote all aspects of wellbeing and provide support for line managers and employees in the area of wellbeing, including mental health.

Requirements

  • Experience in a generalist or joint HR function.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute as part of a team.
  • Experience of working with line managers, with access to HR systems.
  • Understanding of key HR events (talent cycle, compensation reviews).
  • Experience in the financial services sector would be an advantage.
