Job description: Associate Portfolio Manager

Tasks

• Work with the portfolio management team to implement Humans' equity strategies and develop new strategies
• Collaborate daily with the Portfolio Analytics team on portfolio revaluation issues
• Make adjustments to proposed trades if necessary
• Research improvements in all aspects of the investment process
• Develop cross-functional research groups to develop new ideas and tools
• Provide insightful analysis and commentary to clearly and concisely communicate the drivers of performance to clients/prospects
• Discuss the investment environment and strategy performance with clients/prospects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in quantitative equity portfolio management and research
• A degree (Ph.D., M.Sc.) in a quantitative discipline or an MBA with a finance specialization is highly relevant
• Ability to implement and develop quantitative models and conduct quantitative/statistical research in the areas of stock selection, portfolio construction and risk modeling
• Solid understanding of programming and statistical analysis
• Proficiency in Python (or similar) and/or other statistical computing packages
• Extensive experience in programming in S/Python and/or other statistical computing packages
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment
