An Associate is to join the Private Equity Fund Investment Team (Primaries) in London, UK, supporting the full lifecycle of private equity fund investments. The role requires excellent analytical and financial skills as well as excellent communication skills.

Job Description

Our Private Markets Investment Management division is looking for an Associate to join our Private Equity Fund Investment Team (Primaries) to be based in London, UK. The successful applicant will be involved in the full lifecycle of private equity fund investments:
  • Maintain and build LGT CP's network and relationships with PE managers: participate in update meetings with existing and potential new PE fund manager relationships, and attend Annual General Meetings;
  • Contribute to Due Diligence processes including analysis of the strategy and track-record of Private Equity funds.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Degree from a top-tier university and an excellent academic track-record;
  • 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience, ideally from a similar position in Alternative Asset Management / Private Equity Fund of Funds / Placement Agent. Prior experience in Investment Banking / Management Consulting is also valuable;
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills; including financial modeling;
  • Self-starter personality with ability to work well in a multi-cultural team;
  • Excellent organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact confidently and professionally with colleagues and senior industry professionals.
