Associate Relationship Manager for Intermediaries Market SGP
Julius Baer is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager for the Intermediaries Market in Singapore, a transitional role within a three-year development program leading to a position as a Relationship Manager. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring and servicing clients, collaborating with specialists, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Attract prospects, proactively build an internal client base, and retain existing clients in close collaboration with other team members
- Proactively seek support, feedback, and guidance from other relationship managers on the team to help you develop and maintain successful client relationships
- Respond to all client needs with the highest possible quality and in a timely manner
- Provide appropriate investment content in collaboration with specialists (as needed) and in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines, while complying with external rules and regulations
- Strengthen client relationships and continuously optimize clients’ potential revenue through the acquisition of additional share of wallet and cross-selling
- Adjust the frequency and intensity of contact based on the client's preference
- Ensure the highest level of data security (GDPR / data privacy) through access management
- Ensure that all relationship documentation requirements are met at all times, including client identification, credit documentation (CDB), account opening forms, and other relevant legal forms
- Gather client feedback on products and services and share it with the relevant specialists within the Bank to facilitate continuous improvement and adaptation to client needs
- Gather client feedback regarding their service experience and respond with appropriate solutions
- Build internal and external networks, and foster close relationships and open collaboration
- Maintain the highest level of compliance with internal processes and quality control, including mandatory reporting and reporting of significant events (incidents or risks)
- Be available to clients outside of business hours and/or on weekends to ensure that their needs are addressed in a timely manner
- Be committed to continuous self-development, growth, and progress in your respective fields of expertise, and proactively seek out learning opportunities
- Build your own expertise, get involved, and participate actively in internal communities of practice
- Cooperate and work closely with other relationship managers on the team, and stay in regular contact by setting aside time and contributing to joint activities
- Constantly monitor product risks to protect the Bank and its clients as part of the first line of defense
- Develop and implement new marketing strategies in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and the Group Head
- Contribute to strategic initiatives (e.g., to optimize key processes or support new product initiatives)
- Actively participate in the Associate RM development program and engage with the Associate RM peer group to share experiences and best practices

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Higher education (e.g., a master’s degree from a university, an MBA, or the CFA) or other educational background combined with relevant professional experience
- A proven track record of 3–5 years of work experience (preferably in the financial industry) or completion of the Julius Baer First Create program
