Associate Relationship Manager for Intermediaries Market SGP

The position of Associate Relationship Manager for Intermediaries Market SGP at Julius Baer in Singapore is a transitional role for a limited period of time, during which the Associate Relationship Manager builds up their own client book and looks after existing clients with the aim of becoming a Relationship Manager after successfully completing the program. The role requires good interpersonal skills, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure, as well as knowledge of global financial markets and the industry.

Your challenge

The role of Intermediary Associate Relationship Manager (Associate RM) is linked to the respective internal development program. It is therefore a transitional role for a limited period (usually three years), with the aim of the Associate RM becoming a Relationship Manager (RM) after successfully completing the program.

Key features of the position

  • Attracting new customers, proactively building up your own customer base, and retaining existing customers in close cooperation with other team members
  • Proactively seeking support, feedback, and guidance from other relationship managers in the team when developing and maintaining successful customer relationships
  • Responding to all customer inquiries with the highest quality and in a timely manner
  • Provide appropriate investment content in collaboration with specialists (if necessary) and in accordance with internal guidelines and regulations, as well as in compliance with external rules and regulations.
  • Deepening customer relationships and continuously optimizing customer potential by acquiring additional shares in the customer portfolio / cross-selling
  • Adjusting the frequency and intensity of contact to the customer's preferences
  • Ensuring the highest level of data protection (CID / data protection) through access management
  • Provide accurate customer relationship documentation at all times, including customer identification documentation (CID), account opening forms, and other relevant legal forms.
  • Gathering customer feedback on products and services with the relevant specialists within the bank to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation to market trends
  • Continuously monitoring potential risks to protect the bank and its customers as part of the first line of defense
  • Develop and implement new marketing strategies in collaboration with the Market Head and Group Head
  • Participate in strategic initiatives (e.g., to optimize key processes or support new product initiatives)
  • Active participation in the Associate RM Development Program and engagement in the Associate RM community to share experiences and best practices
