Associate Relationship Manager for Intermediaries Market SGP

The Associate Relationship Manager for the Intermediaries market in Singapore will be responsible for acquiring new clients and maintaining and expanding existing client relationships in order to leverage the potential for revenue growth. The position is part of an internal development program aimed at eventually taking on the role of Relationship Manager.

Your challenge

The role of Intermediary Associate Relationship Manager (Associate RM) is linked to the internal development program. It is a transitional role for a limited period (usually three years), with the aim of the Associate RM becoming a Relationship Manager (RM) after successfully completing the program.

Tasks

- Attracting new customers, proactively building your own customer base, and retaining existing customers in close collaboration with other team members - Proactively seeking support, feedback, and guidance from other relationship managers in the team in developing and maintaining successful customer relationships - Responding to all customer inquiries with the highest quality and in a timely manner - Providing appropriate investment content in collaboration with specialists (if necessary) and in accordance with internal guidelines and regulations, as well as external rules and regulations - Deepening customer relationships and continuously optimizing customer potential by acquiring additional shares in the customer portfolio / cross-selling - Adapting the frequency and intensity of contact to customer preferences - Ensuring the highest level of data protection (CID/data protection) through access management - Providing accurate customer relationship documentation at all stages, including customer identification documentation (CID), account opening forms, and other relevant legal forms - Recording customer feedback on products and services with the relevant specialists within the bank to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation to market trends - Continuously monitor potential risks to protect the bank and its customers as part of the first line of defense - Create and implement new marketing strategies in collaboration with the Market Head & Group Head - Contribute to strategic initiatives (e.g., optimizing key processes or supporting new product initiatives) - Actively participate in the Associate RM development program and engage in the Associate RM community to share experiences and best practices

Requirements

- Knowledge of global financial markets, interest in market developments and industry trends - Basic understanding of cultural differences in the geographical markets to be served - Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the respective markets and jurisdictions - Good understanding of relevant products, services, and tools in private banking - Ability to match customer needs with appropriate product solutions

Training and experience

- University degree (e.g., master's degree, MBA, CFA) or other educational background combined with relevant professional experience - Demonstrable success with 3-5 years of professional experience (preferably in the financial sector) or completion of the Julius Baer front office graduate program
