Job Profile Summary
Responsibility within Mans investment products. Work across Mans investment divisions on development, governance, and lifecycle management for all investment products. This role includes product design, implementation, and timely delivery of product lifecycle events, including launches, re-launches, migrations, or exits and closures.
Tasks
- Partner with senior stakeholders at Man to lead brainstorming discussions on product design and structuring for new investment products (including pooled funds and client solutions) for one or more of Man's investment divisions
- Managing the coordination of product lifecycle events for one or more of Mans Investment divisions
- Partner and interact with other teams within Man (including senior management, portfolio management, business, and digital solutions) involved in product lifecycle events, including for internal and external customers.
- Leadership of management and coordination with internal counsel for fund-related lifecycle events, including pooled funds and client solutions
- Ensuring that each product lifecycle phase is fully compliant with Mans product governance process, including obtaining approvals from the client, the fund, and the board of directors
- Writing summaries for new products or significant modifications to existing products
- Participation in meetings during the various phases of product lifecycle events, as summarized in Man's product governance framework
- Maintenance and updating of checklists, procedures, and documentation associated with product lifecycle events
- Review and understanding of fund documentation and product specifications, including but not limited to drafting product proposals or coordinating stakeholder responses to proposals, if necessary
Requirements
Technical skills
- Excellent academic qualifications are required.
- Background in product development/management (2-6 years of experience)
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Previous experience was gained at a leading asset management company.
- Familiarity with technology (e.g., Microsoft Office; Excel; SharePoint)
- Detailed understanding of a range of fund structures
