Associate, Sales Product Management

Job description

Job Profile Summary

Responsibility within Man for the life cycle of Man's investment products. Collaboration with various investment divisions to identify, research, design, and implement the product management process for investment products.

Tasks

• Partnering with senior stakeholders at Man to take the lead in discussions on the product design and structuring of new investment products
• Collaborate with other teams, including investment management, product management, sales, and operational teams involved in product lifecycle events.
• Managing communication and coordination with external consultants for fund-related life cycle events
• Ensuring that every product lifecycle event complies with Man's product governance process
• Preparation of executive summaries for new products or significant modifications to existing products
• Conducting meetings throughout the product lifecycle
• Maintenance and updating of checklists, procedures, and controls associated with product lifecycle events
• Support for sales inquiries regarding product specifications
• Responding to inquiries and obtaining approvals for products
• Product champion within the Global Product Management Team

Requirements

Technical skills

• CIMA, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent qualifications required

• Background in investment product management (2+ years of experience)
• Investment, markets, or related fields; ideally with a focus on alternatives
• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• Relevant experience, e.g., business areas, products
• Product development experience; strong technical knowledge of private markets products or UCTs
• Detailed understanding of various fund structures
