Job description

Associate, Sales Service Partner, who plays a key role in driving growth at SpiderRock Advisors (SRA) by managing the internal sales process for new and existing clients and leveraging our suite of investment products, while working closely with our portfolio management, operations, and compliance teams, as well as partner custodians, to ensure transparency and minimize time to market.

Tasks

  • Be an expert in SRA option overlay strategies, risk management, and portfolio enhancement techniques.
  • Drive the adoption of SpiderRock’s option overlay strategies among financial advisors and their clients.
  • Develop proposals to present potential SRA solutions to existing and prospective clients.
  • Provide ongoing support to consultants, answer technical questions, and facilitate portfolio reviews.
  • Work with the BlackRock US Wealth Advisory teams to align sales efforts with broader strategic goals.
  • Deliver presentations, webinars, and training sessions to inform consultants about SpiderRock’s solutions and value proposition.
  • Develop and implement engagement campaigns, lead generation initiatives, and digital marketing tactics to achieve revenue goals.
  • Work with the SpiderRock Service, Onboarding, and Implementation (SDI) teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and account setup process.
  • Provide feedback from the sales floor to inform product development and communication strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing, compliance, and investment teams to ensure the consistency and accuracy of sales materials.
  • Ownership, assessment, escalation, and resolution of risk issues within a reasonable timeframe.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses, or 7&66 licenses, or the ability to obtain them within the first 3–6 months of employment, are required.
  • Knowledge of financial services and/or industry experience in wealth/asset management.
  • A proven track record in consultative selling and relationship management.
  • A strong focus on the customer and the ability to collaborate with various internal teams and client accounts.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, combined with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.
  • Experience with structured products, structured notes, or other OTC derivatives is a plus.
