Job Duties

• Acquire and organize new financial and economic data sets to build out the firm's macro economic data platform and streamline surveillance of classical economic indicators.
• Develop and maintain processes and processes using technology to review and analyze large datasets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computational Analysis and/or Policy, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field; or 3 years of experience in a related field.
• If you don't have a Master's degree in the field, BlackRock will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computational Analysis and Policy, Economics, Sociology, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research or a related field.

Ideal Candidate

• 3 years' experience in the following fields:
• Python, R, or similar;
• Data Visualization tools such as: Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, and PowerBI;
• Database querying and management tools such as SQL, Snowflake, and BigQuery;
• Data mining techniques Learning tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch;
• Version control with Git & Azure DevOps;
• Cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure;
• Experience with NLP techniques and LLM applications.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $137,800 - $148,000
• For Princeton, NJ: Salary range for this position is $135,000 - $145,000.
• Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Work Model
