About this role
BlackRock US Wealth Alpha Sales is a specialized sales team covering all channels, regions and alternatives products in partnership with the generalist relationship managers in US Wealth Advisory. The group has exceptional access to investment teams, resources and strategic initiatives. BlackRock's Alternative Investment Specialists are responsible for:- Build and manage relationships,
- financial advisors via the wire and bank channels.
- They will focus on the generation, sourcing and distribution of BlackRock's alternatives and investment franchises.
Main tasks
- Demonstrate mastery of resources
- Effectively profile to deliver fiduciary and investment insights through portfolio construction discussions
- Embrace data-driven segmentation and the BlackRock sales process to build deeper relationships with wirehouse, independent RIAs and clients
- Expanding our scope to more consultants through leveraged events
- Utilize a collaborative approach to work with various internal client-facing teams to expand the coverage of BlackRock's Alpha Solutions products.
- Strong prioritization and resource allocation are crucial
- Embracing technology to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- CFA/CAIA certification (or progress towards completion)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong background in the financial services sector with knowledge of investment products, trends and advisory practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical management skills required
- NASD Series 7 and 66 (or pending)
- Clean U-4
- Occasional travel required
Salary and benefits
- The salary range for this position is USD $150,000.00 - USD $200,000.00.
- In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits such as health insurance, paid time off and pension benefits.
