We are looking for an Associate or Vice President to join our iShares Communications Review Team. This team is responsible for reviewing and approving ETF marketing and communications materials. The Associate will work closely with product, marketing, media, and FINRA staff to ensure that marketing and sales materials, digital content, and market commentary comply with regulatory requirements. This position is part of Global Product Solutions, iShares. It is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded candidate to gain in-depth and broad knowledge of the iShares brand, including products and strategies.Tasks
- Review, consultation, and approval of ETF communications materials, including marketing materials, social media content, thought leadership pieces, and sales presentations.
- Training and in-depth knowledge of the ETF ecosystem and investment strategies, including model portfolios, thematic investing, active strategies, and fixed income.
- Development and application of comprehensive knowledge of FINRA advertising guidelines and the communication standards under the Securities Act of 1940 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1933.
- Management of special projects, including personal ideas and initiatives.
- Development and delivery of regulatory communications training.
- Creating an environment that fosters inclusivity, values, and promotes regulatory expertise and rigor.
Requirements
- Academic degree.
- 3+ years (ASO 5+ years) (VP) of compliance experience with a broker-dealer, an investment fund, or an ETF firm, with 2+ years of sales experience.
- Strong familiarity with FINRA and SEC advertising guidelines. Series 7 and 63 registration required (Series 6 and 24 anticipated; Series 6 and 24 are absolutely required within 2 months).
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; should be a solution-oriented, self-assured, and highly motivated colleague with outstanding integrity.
- Strong analytical skills, clear writing style, attention to detail, ability to build relationships within the company, and carefully coordinate across teams.
- A proven track record of delivering results and collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
We offer
For San Francisco, CA, and New York, NY, the salary range for this position is $150,000.00–$200,000.00. In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits such as health insurance, vacation pay, and retirement benefits. For Boston, MA, the salary range for this position is $100,000.00–$150,000.00Job details
