The iShares Fixed Income ETF business unit manages over $21 trillion in assets across more than 130 ETFs and is pursuing an ambitious growth strategy. The Fixed Income ETF Business Strategist is a cross-functional role situated at the intersection of product strategy, market competition analysis, and sales, enabling iShares to lead the market and generate new business across all client channels.Key aspects of the role
This individual serves as a business strategist for the iShares Fixed Income ETF business and collaborates with sales teams, portfolio managers, product developers, and external stakeholders to deepen client relationships, support future innovations, strengthen our competitive position, and accelerate adoption of the iShares Fixed Income platform.Key Areas of Responsibility

- Cross-functional coordination
- Business Performance and Analysis
Business Strategy and Market Competition Analysis
- Drive, support, and coordinate strategic initiatives for the U.S. fixed-income ETF business
- Develop, track, and communicate business objectives and performance indicators
- Support quarterly and semi-annual planning processes
Sales Support and Customer Loyalty
- Work with the U.S. Wealth Advisory and Institutional sales teams to identify and support client opportunities
- Create and manage thought leadership content
- Supporting preparation for leadership roles and external media appearances
Cross-functional coordination
- Work with index and active fixed-income product strategy teams to coordinate messaging and narratives for client channels
- Work with marketing and digital teams to develop and manage content strategies
- Work with colleagues in Regulatory and Market Structure to monitor and analyze policy developments
Business Performance and Analysis
- Track and analyze Net New Business (NNB), NNB fees (NNBF), and AUM trends
- Analyze the competitive landscape and derive strategic recommendations
- Manage and improve competitive analysis databases and tools
Requirements
Required:- 3–5 years of relevant experience in fixed income, ETFs, asset management, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, programming languages such as SQL or Python, and experience with data platforms
- Strong analytical skills and experience with portfolio analysis and data visualization
- Strong project management skills
- Degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
