Associate/Vice President, Residential Debt
Man Group is seeking an Associate or Vice President for its Residential Debt Investment Team who has experience analyzing and managing residential real estate loans and will play a key role in financial analysis, due diligence, and deal execution. The successful candidate should have 3–5 years of relevant experience in this field and possess strong analytical skills.
Position Summary
We are looking for an Associate or Vice President to join our residential mortgage lending team. The team focuses on sourcing, reviewing, and managing investments in residential mortgage loans, loan financing, and transactions on the platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution.Primary Functions & Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities include:- RTL Review: Review of residential real estate loans (RTL) and loan pools, as well as individual loan purchases, including a detailed review of borrower documentation, real estate collateral, investment objectives, and risks to inform investment decisions.
- Portfolio management: Developing and maintaining financial models, conducting capital structure analyses, scenario modeling, and return analyses.
- Sourcing and Execution: Collaboration with RTL originators/agents, warehouse lenders, and construction financing partners. Proactive identification and development of new investment opportunities across the company’s strategies.
Requirements
The requirements for this position are:- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in residential mortgage lending, RTL, origination/accretion, and/or a related field; a CFA designation would be a significant advantage.
- Direct experience in reviewing RTL, with strong credit ratings being strongly preferred.
- Experience with whole-loan trading, inventory financing, and/or credit review is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with a high level of proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel, Python, R, and MATLAB.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and cooperative.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes the following:- A base salary ranging from $150,000 to $235,000 USD.
