The Operations Authorized Officer is responsible for processing structured notes and derivatives, communicating with sales teams and traders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The focus is on handling trading and settlement processes and communicating with internal and external parties.

Tasks

  • Responsible for processing structured notes and derivatives.
  • Communicating with the sales team and dealers in the event of problems with derivative bookings.
  • Handling of life cycle events.
  • Collaborate with headquarters on setting up security measures and updating market prices.
  • Maintaining proper transaction records.
  • Daily reconciliation of dealer blocks against system records and broker confirmations.
  • Management of market data.
  • Review and investigation of discrepancies in cash and securities reconciliation reports.
  • Communication with dealers, brokers, and custodian banks to resolve settlement issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
  • Handling of ad hoc projects as required.
  • Carrying out checks at the end of the day.
  • Responding to inquiries from internal and external parties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Strong commitment and ability to work in a dynamic work environment where communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a bank or financial institution, preferably in the securities settlement area.
