Automation Lead
The Automation Lead will be responsible for leading a team of test automation, SDET, and performance engineers, as well as developing and implementing test automation frameworks and solutions for core banking and satellite applications. The candidate should have experience leading test automation teams and developing test automation frameworks and solutions.
Tasks
The role of Automation Lead involves leading test automation design, development, and innovation initiatives for core banking and satellite applications. This includes:- Lead and manage test automation teams to ensure that automation initiatives and deliverables align with business and technical objectives
- Collaborate with project stakeholders in the areas of core banking and satellite applications to gather automation and non-functional testing requirements and define objectives and solutions for the automation teams
- Supporting the automation team in adopting the latest technologies and industry standards
- Maintaining automation and performance testing libraries to ensure seamless test execution and reporting
- Promoting a culture and a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in the areas of test automation and performance testing
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- At least 12–15 years of experience in developing test automation strategies and technical solutions
- Experience in the private banking sector, including Temeeno's T24 Core Banking
- Ability to develop technical solutions and adapt to the latest technologies
- Expertise in agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
- Experience in automation and the development of automation strategies (Selenium, Playwright, STEP, and other industry standards)
Technical requirements
The following technical requirements must be met:- Proficiency in Linux
- Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, clean code guidelines, branching strategies, release processes, and versioning
- Proficiency with streaming platforms such as Confluent Kafka or IBM MQ
- Experience in load and performance testing using JMeter, k6, or Playwright
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, DynaTrace, or Splunk
