Automation Lead
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Automation Lead to lead a team of test automation and performance engineers and be responsible for developing and implementing test automation frameworks and solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 12-15 years of experience in test automation and experience with Agile methodologies, as well as knowledge of Linux, software engineering, and load and performance testing.
Tasks
The position as Automation Lead includes the following tasks:- Leading test automation design, development, and innovation initiatives for core banking and satellite applications
- Leading a team of test automation, SDET, and load and performance engineers
- Design and implementation of test automation frameworks and solutions using open source and traditional tools on on-premises and cloud platforms
- Working with project stakeholders in the areas of core banking and satellite applications to gather requirements for automation and non-functional testing and define goals and solutions for the automation teams
- Lead the automation teams to keep up with the latest technologies and industry standards
- Maintenance of automation and performance test repositories to ensure seamless test execution and reporting
- Promoting a culture and need for innovation and continuous improvement in the areas of test automation and performance testing
- Review and track artifacts created by automation teams
- Definition of test strategies, automation approaches, environments, and test data management plans for applications
- Collaborate with various project, business and operations teams to achieve goals
- Status reporting and ability to proactively identify problems, risks, and optimal solutions
Client and stakeholder management
The position also includes responsibility for client and stakeholder management:- Stakeholder management – working closely with senior stakeholders within IT and business to drive test automation delivery, best practices, innovation, and automation
- Working with IT risk to promote a risk culture within and between teams
- Ensuring that key stakeholders and participants are informed, involved, and supported by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication about project status throughout the lifecycle.
Regulatory responsibilities and risk management
The position also includes regulatory responsibilities and risk management:- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviors, including, but not limited to, standards of honesty and integrity, diligence and prudence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), conflict management, competence and continuous development, appropriate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Taking responsibility for identifying and managing risks and issues, and encouraging all stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time
Requirements
The position requires:- At least 12-15 years of experience in managing test automation strategies and technical solutions
- Private banking experience, including experience with Temeeno's T24 Core Banking
- Ability to deliver technical solutions and adapt to the latest technologies and innovations
- Expertise in working with agile methods such as Scrum
