Automation Lead

Tasks

• Leading strategy development and technical initiatives for automation in the areas of core banking and securities operations
• Responsibility for the overall end-to-end automation strategy for cross-border platforms and innovations
• Design and implementation of the business framework for securities; development of new services and related technologies to support and coordinate programs
• Close collaboration with the internal IT and operations teams
• Testing Management Within the Core Banking System
• Design and implementation of core banking applications for securities operations and reporting using cloud infrastructures
• Coordination and oversight of cross-functional activities across multiple business units, projects, vendors, and partners
• Use of web-based technologies, data applications, and integration with existing software applications to ensure an optimal user experience

Requirements

• At least 11 years of experience managing test automation strategies and technical solutions
• Experience in the senior/DevOps field, including TDD processes and QA
• Experience with core banking and securities operations
• Experience working with agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, and PMP
• Experience in automation and DevOps
• Automation Design (Selenium, Playwright, E2E, and other industry-standard tools)
• Experience with test automation frameworks and testing tools, as well as knowledge of Microsoft, Playwright, Selenium, and Java
• Expertise in SRE, DevOps, or cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, D2D, and SQL Server (Azure preferred)
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker management
• In-depth understanding of JIRA
• A solid understanding of best practices in customer experience engineering, team coding guidelines, testing best practices, testing metrics, and project metrics
• A solid understanding of emerging platforms, tools, technologies, and frameworks, along with knowledge of Salesforce and AWS
• Experience in team leadership and management, with strong communication skills and expertise in team building
• Exposure to or experience in various industries (B2B preferred)
• Ability to effectively lead teams across multiple locations
• Expertise and technical proficiency in Azure, AWS, Kubernetes (microservices), Git, CI/CD, SDLC, agile methodologies, DevOps, or similar experience with cloud-based solutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), etc.
• Experience in application packaging and deployment via CI/CD pipelines, as well as in cloud-native application development using containerized environments for Microsoft Azure DevOps, AWS Lambda, GKE, and K8s in on-premises data centers
• Knowledge of SQL databases and web-based technologies based on Microsoft Azure SQL Server, Oracle Database, MongoDB, SQLite, Cassandra, NoSQL, ElasticSearch, Splunk, and Redis
• Experience in project management, processes, and workflows across multiple projects, technologies, and environments (BPMN, UML, etc.) is a plus
