As a Senior Axiom Developer and SME at Julius Baer in Singapore, you will lead the development of regulatory reporting changes on the AXIOM platform and support the Application Owner in platform management. The position requires at least 10 years of experience in regulatory reporting and 8 years of specific Axiom development experience.
Job Description
- As a senior Axiom developer and subject matter expert (SME), drive the development of changes to MAS and HKMA regulatory reporting on the AXIOM platform and support the Application Owner in managing the platform
- Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified, managed, and communicated to stakeholders in order to deliver on time and in accordance with the required quality standards
- Ensure production stability and timely communication with stakeholders
- Drive and review technical and architectural design; enforce architectural guidelines
- Work closely with the finance and other reporting departments, business change analysts, and business managers to drive and manage IT delivery
- Experience in performance optimization
Your Profile
Competencies
- At least 10 years of development experience with regulatory reporting tools
- At least 8 years of Axiom development experience, with solid hands-on development experience using Axiom or other equivalent regulatory reporting products
- Exposure to the core banking system, balance sheet, accounting
- Passionate about technology and building robust and scalable systems
- Experience with any other BI/reporting tools would be an asset as you grow in this field (e.g., AMSA (BI/SI) and MAS, as well as other reporting tools)
- Experience with various technological components and development projects using agile methodologies, including Agile and others
- Experience with various tools, models, and techniques, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Termeros T24 is an advantage
- Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of systems, software, online products, or processes using the Waterfall methodology
- Experience with a variety of software development approaches and methodologies
- Experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design
Education & Required Skills
- Higher education in computer science (university, university of applied sciences, or equivalent degree)
- Experienced with the Axiom controller view
