About the role

Our Azure Cloud SRE team ensures the reliability, scalability and performance of our digital banking infrastructure to achieve a robust financial future and develop cloud operating standards.

Main tasks

• Own and design infrastructure standards for our integrated currency and digital asset banking platforms at the forefront of digital asset banking;
• Lead the definition, implementation and monitoring of infrastructure governance frameworks for digital asset banking, custody, trading and lending;
• Hands-on development of infrastructure platforms that combine traditional banking and blockchain.

Ideal candidate

You are a highly skilled infrastructure expert with strong experience in overseeing cloud architecture for infrastructure, applications and cloud technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent;
• 5+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years of experience in infrastructure architecture roles or equivalent;
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English;
• Strong ability to collaborate with and influence diverse teams, acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Demonstrate successful leadership of cross-functional initiatives and the promotion of alignment between teams.

Required expertise

Proven expertise covering at least 75% of the following points:

• Cloud infrastructure architecture and landing zone concepts for Azure;
• Knowledge of the architecture, construction and secure maintenance of infrastructures running on Azure in an immutable (declarative) manner;
• Knowledge of the secure software development lifecycle (SDL);
• Development of infrastructure standards in regulated environments;
• Infrastructure architecture reviews for critical business systems;
• Financial regulations (e.g. II-MRA) and banking infrastructure requirements;
• Application, infrastructure and network best practices;
• API standards and gateway architecture;
• Kubernetes and microservices infrastructure patterns.

Nice to Have

• Team leadership or management experience;
• Azure data platform infrastructure;
• German language skills.
