Julius Baer is looking for an experienced backend developer to work with a global team in Singapore and Zurich to further develop and improve the trading platform. The focus will be on creating new libraries and frameworks as well as implementing requirements from traders and business owners.

Backend Developer 100% (m/f/d)Tasks
- Provide first-class support for the company and our stakeholders
- Participate in the containerization of our applications using Kubernetes-based solutions
- Work with team members in Singapore and Zurich to maintain and improve our trading platform
- Creation of new libraries and frameworks
- Recording new requirements from retailers and business owners
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years as a backend developer
- Strong knowledge of C and/or Java
- Good knowledge of reactive libraries, patterns and frameworks
- Experience with MongoDB, MS SQL, RabbitMQ, gRPC and GraphQL
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a global team environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in the financial industry
- Knowledge of JavaScript, React and TypeScript
- Familiarity with cloud-based development, containerization and Azure Application Services
