BANK-now - Head of Software Development
BANK-now, a subsidiary of UBS, is seeking an experienced leader in Zurich to serve as Head of Software Development and build and lead the software development department. The role involves setting the strategic direction for IT, managing external partners, and providing technical leadership to the team in the Consumer Finance division.
Tasks
- Establishment and further development of the software development department, including discipline
- Primary point of contact for internal
- Definition of software architectures, interfaces, and technical resources
- Ensuring Maintenance, Continue
- Initiation and Control of External Software
- Availability and Technical Leadership of the Software Development Team
- Central Supervisor for External Software Development Partners (Nearshore/Offshore)
Skills and Experience
- Several years of proven experience in agile software development with moderate
- Extensive leadership experience as a manager of software development teams
- Proven experience in management and in working with external parties
- Strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders from business and IT
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German and English
- Experience in the financial services sector
- Analytical business acumen, a high degree of initiative, and assertiveness
- Enjoyment in empowering and developing a team
