BANK-now - Head of Software Development
BANK-now, a subsidiary of UBS, is seeking a Head of Software Development in Zurich to lead software development teams and define the software architecture. The position requires extensive leadership experience, knowledge of agile development, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners in the financial services sector.
Tasks
- Software Analysis and Evaluation
- Primary point of contact for internal stakeholders
- Development, Testing, and Integration of Modern Software Systems
- Definition of Software Architecture
- Creating a collaborative environment
- Team Motivation for the Company's Success
- Close cooperation with business and near- and offshore development partners
- Close, ongoing collaboration and coordination with IT development partners (near/offshore)
- Active Collaboration Within the Team
- Use of agile practices in the development of technology stacks (including the use of AI in software development)
Skills and Experience
- Several years of proven experience in agile software development using modern technologies
- Extensive leadership experience as a manager of software development teams
- Proven experience in management and in collaborating with external partners
- Strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders from business and IT
- Experience in the financial services sector
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German and English
- Analytical business acumen, a high degree of initiative, and assertiveness
- Enjoyment in helping and developing a team
