BANK-now – ICT Application and Integration Specialist

The role

In this role, you will work at the intersection of application operations, system integration, and process automation. You will ensure that business-critical applications work together reliably and support the continuous optimization of our end-to-end processes. You will work in a heterogeneous system landscape with Windows and Linux servers, container platforms, event streaming, cloud services, as well as Oracle and MS-SQL databases. The focus is on stable operations, further development of existing application integration, and automation.

Tasks

We are looking for a dedicated individual to serve as an ICT Application and Integration Specialist for the following responsibilities:

• Operation, monitoring, and further development of integrations between core banking, CRM, accounting, and peripheral systems
• Documentation of system integration and preparation of operating manuals

What we wish for

We are looking for someone with:

• A degree in computer science (e.g., computer science or engineering) or a comparable qualification
• Experience in application operations and system integration of production IT systems
• Practical experience with interface technologies (API, messaging, batch processing)
• Operational experience with Windows and Linux servers
• Analytical thinking skills and a structured approach to work
• A team-oriented and responsible work ethic with a strong focus on customer service
• Good written and spoken German and English skills

An advantage

• Experience with container platforms
• Experience with event streaming using Kafka
• Practical Experience with Microsoft Azure and Hybrid Databases
• Proficiency in Oracle/DB2 databases
• Experience with a CRM system, ideally
