As a banker in J.P. Morgan’s Private Banking division, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones by leveraging your extensive knowledge of investments, banking services, and financial planning. Your role involves providing clients with comprehensive wealth management solutions and building long-term relationships.

Job Summary

As a banker in J.P. Morgan’s Private Banking division, you will drive new client acquisition and retention through your comprehensive knowledge of investments, banking, trust services, and financial planning. This role is also responsible for the client experience and leverages our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Attract and acquire new customers from Turkey
  • Responsible for the sale and implementation of investment, banking, and trust/estate planning products for key clients
  • Engage and coordinate specialists (investors, capital advisors, trust and estate advisors, and wealth managers) to provide interdisciplinary expertise for our most complex clients
  • Manage each account to ensure that the client has a complete profile and that accounts are properly maintained and managed, in particular in accordance with J.P. Morgan’s risk management policies
  • Build trust with customers and effectively manage relationships
  • Ensure that the proposed products and services best meet the needs and objectives of customers

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Extensive experience in private banking with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Previous experience in business unit development
  • Performance-oriented, focused on exceeding business goals while paying close attention to detail
  • Proven sales success, including: lead generation, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team-based sales approach, closing the sale, and requesting referrals
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship management and team-building skills; considers the concept of teamwork to be critical
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of investment, banking, and fiduciary concepts, including but not limited to: asset allocation across structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and credit solutions, basic fiduciary and estate planning products, and the identification of wealth planning opportunities
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, including regulatory and technological changes
  • Fluency in Turkish and English is required
